The Canadian Women’s Foundation is Canada’s public foundation for diverse women and girls, empowering women and girls to move themselves out of violence, out of poverty, and into confidence and leadership. We focus on women and girls because they face distinct barriers that require distinct solutions and because gender equality improves economic and social conditions for everyone.
We aim to be inclusive of diverse people across gender and sexuality spectrums. We focus our efforts on supporting those who face the most barriers and have least access to relevant services. This includes people who identify as women, girls, trans, genderqueer, non-binary, and 2SLGBTQI+

The Canadian Women's Foundation invited the cast and crew of Songs for
a New World to share what it meant to them to be performing in a benefit show for their charity.
Meredith Busteed wrote an absolutely beautiful and inspiring letter to the Canadian Women's Foundation which was then published to their website.
We want to take this opportunity to thank Meredith for sharing such an intimate moment in her life and allowing us to reflect on the invisible struggles women face everyday.
